Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Sales Representative – Service &
Maintenance (Remote – North Carolina) Base Salary: $60–$70k
Commission | Company Vehicle Provided Are you a self-motivated
sales professional who thrives in the field, enjoys building
relationships face-to-face, and likes rolling up your sleeves for
on-site inspections? This role blends relationship management,
hands-on roof evaluations, and active prospecting across North
Carolina—perfect for someone who wants more than a desk job and is
driven to grow a service-focused book of business. We are seeking a
proactive, energetic sales representative to grow our commercial
roofing service and maintenance portfolio. You will spend most of
your time in the field meeting with existing clients, conducting
inspections, generating estimates, and actively prospecting for new
business opportunities. This is not an installation sales
role—compensation is tied strictly to service and maintenance plan
sales. A company vehicle is provided for all field visits. What
You'll Do Drive market growth by executing targeted sales
strategies specifically for commercial roofing service and
maintenance programs. Perform on-site inspections, calculate square
footages, evaluate roof geometry, and produce accurate service
estimates. Review project requirements, analyze job information,
and recommend service solutions aligned with regulatory and
manufacturer standards. Stay current on roofing systems,
manufacturers' specifications, product lines, and evolving industry
technologies. Build and execute a personal business plan designed
to exceed quarterly and annual service sales goals. Manage customer
expectations throughout the full sales cycle—from service program
development to implementation and follow-through. Conduct daily
follow-ups on open proposals, addressing objections and moving
opportunities forward. Proactively prospect through cold calls,
social media outreach, email campaigns, networking, and in-person
visits. Engage decision-makers within regional and national
accounts to uncover new service opportunities. Schedule and lead
meetings with key stakeholders to present maintenance and service
solutions. Document all activities, notes, and progress in the CRM
to track performance and ensure alignment with leadership. Prepare
and deliver presentations to prospective clients, involving
leadership when needed. Negotiate and close service opportunities
within established pricing and approval guidelines. Partner with
Service Operations to resolve issues and support long-term client
satisfaction. Take on additional assignments as needed. What You
Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent. 3–5 years of B2B
sales experience, ideally with strong exposure to selling
maintenance or service plans. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and
CRM systems. Strong relationship-building, presentation,
negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage the full
customer experience—from initial outreach through inspections,
proposals, and service delivery. Proven ability to hit productivity
metrics and sales goals. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
This is a field-intensive role—ideal for someone who enjoys being
outdoors, meeting customers on-site, and actively evaluating
building conditions. Ability to work in a hybrid environment: field
sites, rooftops, customer facilities, warehouse, and occasional
home/office time. Comfortable working in all weather conditions,
including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather. Ability to
carry, set up, and climb extension ladders (approximately 20 ft).
Ability to access rooftops via ladders or stairs to meet with
customers and perform inspections. Willingness to wear
fall-protection equipment, including full-body harnesses, when
required. Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks (typing, data
entry) and work extended periods on a computer or phone when
necessary. Travel up to 75% within the assigned territory—mostly by
company vehicle—with occasional overnight or out-of-area travel
(including by plane) as needed. INDHP
