It all begins with you.Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. - Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. - We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.The Wholesale Financial Crimes Risk & Control (WFCRC) team is responsible for the coordination, oversight and ultimate execution of Wholesale Banking's commitments to key internal and external stakeholders as it relates to the management of financial crimes risk with the Wholesale Bank. In addition to having responsibility for Wholesale Banking's execution of the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) program, WFCRC is also responsible for the remediation of the OCC BSA/AML Consent Order. This team will partner with line of business ("LOB"), operations, risk and compliance team members, Wholesale Control Executive Office, Enterprise Financial Crimes Risk Management, Wells Fargo Audit Services, and Testing & Validation to advocate and ensure alignment in scope, purpose, expectations and execution of the Wholesale Financial Crimes Program. The team will achieve this through a focus on strong communication, strategic planning, thoughtful and meaningful tracking/reporting, and timely escalation and change management.The Wholesale Financial Crimes Operations (WFCO) team within WFCRC is seeking a dynamic Business Initiatives Consultant. This organization will help provide expertise and oversight for new systems and tools development, while focusing on automation and simplification efforts. - This Business Initiatives Consultant 2 (BIC2) will support Wholesale Initiatives while interacting with LOBs, independent risk management, and Audit.The Demand Management- is an essential team that helps align Wholesale BSA/AML strategic priorities to drive effective prioritization and planning of business initiatives. The BSA/AML platform consists of multiple tools and teams, this group plays a key role in coordinating and partnering with these teams to delivery holistic solutions that meet regulatory and policy guidelines.Individual Responsibilities:

  • Developing alignment across Wholesale on a common vision and strategy for CDD Tools
  • Ensure business outcomes are accurately documented and captured for disposition
  • Maintain and ensure requests align to the BSA/AML roadmap
  • Maintaining and updating business outcomes as needed within appropriate tool
  • Partnering across all partner teams to ensure alignment of business outcome (enhancements, technical fixes and defects)
  • Capturing requests across Wholesale and ensuring work efforts aligned to the Strategy
  • Apply a prioritization methodology (including business case) to guide the definition and classification of all demand. This involves working with senior and executive level business and EIT leaders. To provide transparency and clarity of process.
  • Supporting Wholesale through operating and organizational changeTeam members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.     Required Qualifications
    • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

      Desired Qualifications
      • 1+ year of JIRA experience
      • Knowledge and understanding of Tableau
      • A BS/BA degree or higher
      • Experience translating business needs into complex analysis, designs and recommendations

        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
        • Aptitude for complex problem solving and a pragmatic results orientation
        • Exceptional judgment of tangible and intangible factors, organizational savvy with strong relationship management, negotiation skills
        • Ability to work in a complex, highly matrixed work environment
        • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and consult with key business partners
        • Demonstrated experience partnering with direct and indirect business line leaders
        • Experience working on multiple transformation programs
        • Experience supporting multiple technology applications used by multiple line of business

          Job Expectations
          • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
