and for the road ahead. Summary: The Assembler I will be
responsible for assembling various components in the manufacture of
assemblies/sub-assemblies to deliver final product. Essential
Duties: /n - Responsible for efficient operations and assembly
tasks at different workstations /n - Position and fasten
subassemblies through torquing, assembling components such as,
wires, hoses, instrument panels, doors, handles, and underbodies.
/n - Route all harnesses through facility /n - Use manipulators and
tools with standard work instructions. /n - Complete function
testing and support validation checks /n - Serve as first line of
defense by observing components through ongoing quality checks. /n
- Assist in driving back defects to the point of origin along with
identifying and assisting in implementation of corrective action(s)
/n - Workplace Organization (WPO); maintain a safe and clean work
environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper
5S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in
assembling and testing of models/products in assigned job function.
/n - Other duties, as assigned. /n /n Minimum Qualifications: /n -
Basic computer, math, and reading skills. /n - Ability to
multi-task and adapt to a changing environment and processes. /n -
Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and
perform work accordingly. /n /n /n - Ability to communicate with
leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms
at a level above standard. /n - Must be team oriented. /n /n
Preferred Qualifications: /n - At least six months experience in
automotive manufacturing /n - Previous assembly experience /n -
High School Diploma/GED or certification program in equivalent
