About the Production Coordinator Role The Production Coordinator is responsible for purchasing materials, maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting assembly operations, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role serves as a key link between production, vendors, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly. The coordinator will also assist with hands-on assembly, stocking, and warehouse tasks when needed. Key Responsibilities Purchase and replenish inventory based on production schedules and usage trends. Monitor, track, and manage inventory using internal systems to maintain accurate counts and minimize variances. Oversee and support assemblers, ensuring materials, tools, and instructions are available and workflow stays on schedule. Perform quality control checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Communicate with vendors and suppliers, including placing orders, verifying deliveries, resolving issues, and monitoring lead times. Assist with assembly, stocking, receiving, and general warehouse duties to support daily operations. Maintain organized storage areas, labeling, rotation, and documentation. Collaborate with the Production Manager to forecast supply needs and improve workflow efficiency. Qualifications Experience in inventory management or purchasing preferred. Basic understanding of assembly or manufacturing processes. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to perform hands-on warehouse and assembly work as needed. Comfortable working with vendors, delivery schedules, and inventory systems. Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
