Job Description:
US Foods, a premier foodservice distributor, is seeking a
dedicated Senior Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet operations.
Specializing in diesel engine repair and preventive maintenance,
the ideal candidate will ensure that our logistics backbone
operates efficiently, thereby supporting the national food
distribution network. This role requires deep knowledge of diesel
engines, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to
safety and quality service standards. Perform routine and
preventative maintenance on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
Diagnose and repair any issues related to electrical systems,
engines, and other truck components. Ensure compliance with all
safety guidelines and standards. Maintain detailed records of
performed works and scheduled checks. Collaborate with the
logistics team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
Expertise in diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment. Proficiency
with diagnostic tools and software used in the industry. Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to
communicate effectively with a team. Medical Insurance Dental
