THE ROLE Chetola Resort is seeking a dependable, hard-working Line
Cook to join our culinary team and contribute during our day shift
from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM to delivering high-quality meals in a
fast-paced, team-focused environment. This position plays an
essential role in preparing dishes to our exacting standards,
maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting a positive
guest dining experience at Timberlake’s Restaurant. SCHEDULE 6:30
AM - 2:30 PM WHAT YOU’LL DO Food Preparation & Execution Prepare
menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and chef
instructions Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies
and ingredients Cook food items with consistency, accuracy, and
efficiency Maintain presentation, temperature, and quality
standards during service Cleanliness & Kitchen Safety Ensure all
workstations, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures (ServSafe
standards) Monitor and minimize food waste Assist with receiving,
labeling, and rotating food product deliveries Team Collaboration &
Support Work closely with other cooks, prep staff, dishwashers, and
front-of-house teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Communicate any issues or shortages with supervisors promptly Be
flexible and willing to assist with other duties as needed
Requirements: ABOUT YOU Passionate about cooking and committed to
producing high-quality food Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
with a positive attitude Able to work well under pressure in a team
environment Comfortable with repetition and maintaining consistent
standards REQUIREMENTS Previous kitchen experience required
Understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife handling, and food
safety standards Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs,
