Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Weekend shift coverage needed every Saturday and Sunday, 8 or 12 hours depending on department needs
• 
  
• Daytime shift available with 5 x 8-hour schedule
• 
  
• Handle 2-5 patient encounters per shift in a 27-bed department
• 
  
• Provide anesthesia services for various surgical specialties including GYN, Ortho, Cysto, General surgery, Hearts, Lungs, healthy pediatrics, Endocrinology, OB, Vascular, and Neuro spine procedures
• 
  
• Work with challenging acute cases alongside a great team of MDAs and CRNAs
• 
  
• Utilize up-to-date equipment with comprehensive safety measures in place
• 
  
• Participate in Code Stroke and EP cases
• 
  
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• 
  
• Must be board certified with minimum 3 years fellowship experience
• 
  
• General anesthesia skills required for adult, pediatric, and trauma cases
• 
  
• Experience needed with obstetrical, neurosurgical spine, open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases
• 
  
• Arterial line placement required, central line placement preferred
• 
  
• CRNA supervision required
• 
  
• 30-minute lunch break deducted from daily worked hours
