(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these

team focused on maternal care in a community hospital setting
located in Waxhaw, NC. This contract role offers the opportunity to
apply your ORT nursing and Certified Surgical Technician skills in
a supportive environment dedicated to obstetric procedures
including vaginal deliveries and C-sections. Location Overview:
Waxhaw is a vibrant and growing town known for its welcoming
community atmosphere and proximity to larger urban centers. You
will enjoy a balance of peaceful small-town living with convenient
access to major highways and amenities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide surgical tech support in OB surgeries such as cesarean
sections, tubal ligations, and emergency hysterectomies. Assist
during vaginal deliveries including instrumentation. Manage
stocking of operating rooms and patient rooms during night shifts.
Work independently as a solo surgical tech with the backing of a
dedicated team including nurses, CNA, HUC, anesthesiology, and
pediatric specialists. Utilize technology such as EPIC EMR and
Neptune cauterization equipment. Occasionally float to a nearby
unit with advance notice. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years as a Surgical Tech, with at least 1 year of
OB-specific experience. Current BLS certification. CST
certification is preferred but not required. Competence in handling
obstetric patient types including pregnant patients and those
undergoing labor and delivery. Comfortable working night shifts and
adaptable to weekend rotations every other weekend. Shift Details:
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours/week)
Weekend rotation every other weekend Holiday coverage approximately
50% of holidays Contract Type: Contract role with the possibility
