Job Description Pediatric Neurology opening in Charlotte, NC
Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed Joining a rapidly
growing Pediatric specialty team (3 physicians & 3 PNPs) Primarily
outpatient care with some hospitalist duties Patient population
includes general neurology cases Rotating coverage for pediatric
inpatient floor, PICU, NICU, and pediatric ED (one-week rotations)
Associated with NAEC level IV epilepsy center (adult & pediatric
monitoring) Pediatric outpatient EEG lab and EMU upgraded to
Cadwell systems in 2020* On-staff pediatric neuropsychologist and
service line pediatric dietitian (ketogenic diet
management)Pediatric Specialty Highlights: Level IV NICU providing
the highest level of infant care Recognized pediatric hospital with
multiple specialty programs and affiliations* Comprehensive
pediatric subspecialties including neurology, cardiology,
endocrinology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, infectious disease,
oncology/hematology, sleep medicine, nephrology,
developmental/behavioral pediatrics, and sports
