No About Facility: 182 licensed beds Trauma Level IV Designation Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Department Information: Average patients/day across modalities: 325 Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Will see a variety of diagnoses across ED, Inpatient and Outpatient areas Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: All modalities will require photo ID – collected during compliance process NC State Licensure is not required Rad Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) CT Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) (CT) Dual Modality CT/DX: BLS; ARRT (R)(CT) MRI Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT US Tech: BLS; ARDMS (no specific anatomy cert required) or ARRT Nuc Med Tech: BLS; ARRT-N or NMTCB Skills required: Varies based on modality – discussed during interview Support within the Department: Nursing, Transport Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC Department specific Equipment: Siemens, Client Floating: N/A Orientation (facility and unit): NEO – online courses 3-5 days departmental depending on modality Scheduling: Weekend rotation: depends on position – discussed during interview Call Required: Depends on modality – discussed during interview Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays RTO: Manager approval Shift times: Varies with modality.
