Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Adult CVOR experience
License: BLS Certified preferred but not required Certifications:
ACLS preferred Must-Have: Strong CVOR experience required. Ability
to work independently with minimal guidance. Experience with Adult
and Pediatric Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeries. Robotic
experience preferred. Hybrid OR experience preferred. Experience
with adult CVOR case types. Description: This is a position for a
CVOR Surgical Tech. The facility features over 900 licensed beds.
It has a Level 1 Trauma Designation and a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma
Center. It is a teaching hospital with designations for Chest Pain
and Stroke. The unit has 7 operating rooms dedicated to Adult and
Pediatric Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgeries. The department
supports Cath Lab and EP Lab activities. Support within the
department includes a Clinical Supervisor, Charge RN, OR
Assistants, and an Anesthesia/CRNA team. Experienced peer support
is available. The technology and equipment used includes an EMR
system and various medical devices. Floating to other areas may be
possible but is unlikely. Weekend rotations may be required for
coverage. Call is required one night per week and two weekends
within a 6-week schedule. Holiday work may be required during the
contract period. Scrubs are personal to and from the facility but
hospital-issued scrubs are worn in the operating room. The unit
