with a top facility in South Carolina for permanent hire! We are
seeking an experienced and dedicated Histology Supervisor to
oversee our histology laboratory operations. The Histology
Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of
histotechnologists and ensuring the timely and accurate processing
of tissue samples for diagnostic purposes. Key responsibilities
include: Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the
histology laboratory, including specimen processing, embedding,
cutting, staining, and coverslipping Ensuring compliance with
laboratory protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements
(CLIA, CAP, etc.) Monitoring quality control and quality assurance
measures to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in
histology testing Training and mentoring histotechnologists and
other laboratory staff Troubleshooting technical issues and
ensuring proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments
Collaborating with pathologists and other healthcare professionals
to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information Managing
inventory and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for
uninterrupted laboratory operations Participating in departmental
meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and strategic
planning activities Requirements: Associate's degree in Medical
Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, Biology, or a related field
ASCP certification as a Histotechnologist (HTL) or equivalent
preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a histology
laboratory, with1 years in a supervisory or leadership role Click
