CT Tech Location: Hillsborough, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Clinical-Allied Specialty: - Duration: Temp to Perm - Dependent on experience Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40.00 Experience: Previous Siemens equipment experience required License: Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible Certifications: Advanced certification in CT required Must-Have: Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science Description: Conducts procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. Uses professional manners and methods to verify patient identification. Obtains patient history and assists patients and family members that require extra attention. Ensures patient understanding whenever possible and ensures patient safety. Verifies patient identification and documents pregnancy status on patients of childbearing age. Obtains images per protocols and manipulates images according to protocols. Performs multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of CT algorithms and selects appropriate window and level settings according to anatomy. Administers oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols. Establishes intravenous lines and administers IV contrast following safe and proper injection procedures. Follows correct procedures to determine contrast eligibility. Checks appropriate lab values before contrast injection per protocol. Maintains a thorough understanding of PACS and transmits images to the QC station. Verifies and segments images at the QC station. Accesses service tools to verify image transmission. Completes, modifies, and/or cancels orders in an appropriate and timely manner. Cancels duplicate orders to avoid duplicate billing and ensures all charge information is accurate. Verifies patient identification in accordance with policy and ensures that all appropriate demographic information is accurate on the PACS images. Performs tasks in a timely manner and creates a consistent workflow. Volunteers to work on challenging tasks, difficult procedures, and new research. Produces quality diagnostic images and reviews patients' charts and reports for correlation. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment. Creates and keeps documentation of incidents as improvement opportunities. Precepts new employees and students. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
