ACLS Must-Have: - Cath Lab experience - Vascular experience,
including Endograft experience - Preferred: Experience in
interventional radiology or in a lab working with vascular surgeons
Description: We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Tech to join our team.
The position involves working in the Cardiac Catheterization
Laboratory. You will be responsible for caring for patients
undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures. Patient types include
NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, and various vascular
cases, mostly lower extremity angiograms and EVAR/TEVAR. You will
work in a unit that has four cardiac rooms and three vascular
rooms. The patient ratio for a Cardiac Cath Tech is 1:1. The
position requires on-call responsibilities, with two weekends every
month and two weekdays discussed during the interview. Weekend
rotation and holiday expectations will also be discussed during the
interview. Support within the department includes a traffic flow
coordinator, charge nurse, ECMO team, and code team. Technology
used includes EMR, hemodynamic monitoring systems, IV pumps, and
various X-ray equipment. Scrub color will be green and provided.
Unit culture is known to be great. Travelers will be expected to
cover each other’s time off requests. Requirements Required for
