ICU/Critical Care RN in Cornelius, North Carolina, 28031! Job
Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Profession: RN
Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU required License:
RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: General ICU
skillset including experience with critical care infusions such as
insulin, vasopressors, and sedation. Ability to manage invasive
lines (ART/CVP), perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, and engage
in ventilator management. Wound care and dressing change
capabilities required. Description: Are you interested in Clinical

Facility details include 33 beds. No trauma designation and not a
teaching hospital. Not currently stroke accredited. Travelers must
be located more than 50 miles from the job site. The unit consists
of 4 beds. Patient types include a wide array of diagnoses such as
sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, cardiac arrest, withdrawal, and renal
failure. Patient ratios are typically 1:1-2 for RNs and 1:10 for
CNAs during shifts. Support staff includes CNAs who assist with
turning, feeding, and mobility. Charge nurse coverage is available
24/7. Phlebotomy is to be conducted by RNs. The workplace utilizes
technology such as EMR, IV pumps, and medication dispensing
systems. Floating may occur within the region and within the scope
of practice as needed. No call requirements are in place, and
holiday work expectations are set at 75%. Requests for time off can
be made and are subject to approval. Scrub color is navy. 5
