nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: -
Strong drip experience - Experience with arterial lines and
titrating vasoactive drips - Familiarity with PCU, DOU, IMC,
Stepdown, and telemetry management - Knowledge in interpretation
and management of dysrhythmias - Experience with IV insulin
protocols and blood product administration - Skills in central and
peripheral line care/management - Proficiency with BIPAP, CPAP,
high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy management Description:
The position requires a registered nurse to work in an intensive
care setting. The candidate should have experience managing
patients with complex health issues. Familiarity with various
medical protocols and advanced life support techniques is
essential. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients
and managing critical medications. The target nurse-to-patient
ratio is 3:1 or 4:1. The role involves floating to a sister unit as
needed. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Candidates
will care for patients including those with respiratory distress,
unstable hemodynamics, and post-operative complications. The unit
focuses on a variety of diagnoses and patient age groups from
adolescents to geriatrics. Candidates should be comfortable with a
range of equipment and technology for patient monitoring. Testing
for EKG proficiency is required prior to assigning shifts. All
