Education) About Position: Work Location: 1214 Vaughn Rd,
Burlington, NC 27217 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to
5:00pm Travel: N/A Duties/ Responsibilities - The Physical
Therapist Assistant is responsible for: 1) providing and
recommending therapeutic exercise, gait training, ambulation; 2)
planning and developing group exercise programs for maintenance
therapy for participants; and 3) carrying out the physical therapy
plan of care created by the Physical Therapist.
Education/Experience : Associates Degree from an accredited
Physical Therapy Assistant Program. One year of experience with the
frail or elderly preferred. Demonstrates clinical competency with
geriatric population Acts within the scope of his/her authority to
practice Meets a standardized set of competencies for the specific
position description established by Piedmont Health SeniorCare and
approved by CMS before working independently Licensure, Registry or
Certification Required : Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in NC;
valid NC Driver License and vehicle. Immunizations: Be medically
cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations
up-to-date prior to beginning employment. Pay Range: $20.48/Hourly
