Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for full-time Speech-Language Pathologists
(SLPs) to serve K-12 student populations in a dynamic school
environment in Blacksburg, VA. This position is ideal for licensed
SLPs, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those
holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials,
seeking a rewarding role supporting diverse school-age caseloads.
Responsibilities include: Providing speech and language therapy
services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on
student assessments. Collaborating with educators, administrators,
and families to support student communication goals. Maintaining
accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school
policies and state regulations. Participating in multidisciplinary
team meetings and contributing to student progress evaluations.
Qualifications and desired experience: Valid state SLP license or
eligibility for licensure. Speech-Language Pathology Certification
(CFY or CCC preferred). Experience working within school settings,
preferably K-12. Strong knowledge of speech and language
development in children and adolescents. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students,
staff, and families. Position details: Location: Blacksburg, VA.
Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Multiple openings available,
including for VOCO SLP roles. Academic year duration. This early
