Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry and
PCU experience required Ability to manage dysrhythmias and
telemetry monitoring required Experience with central lines, PICC
lines, and CVP monitoring required Familiarity with post-myocardial
infarction and pre/post-cardiac catheterization care required
Description: This position involves providing nursing care in a
progressive care unit focused on cardiac patients. The Registered
Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients with acute
coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, and heart failure. Key tasks
include managing cardiac drips, IVs, and administering blood
products. The nurse will work with rapid response teams and assist
in procedures such as cardiac catheterizations. Experience with
interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients in telemetry
settings is essential. The role requires occasional floating
between different units or campuses if needed. A strong focus on
patient assessment and critical thinking is necessary for success
in this role. The ideal candidate will exhibit flexibility in
scheduling to meet unit needs. All candidates must be prepared to
pass an EKG exam as part of compliance requirements. This position
