Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Salisbury, NC (onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00) Total Weekly Hours: 40 RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR FOR THIS UNIT, TECHS START DIRECTLY ON THE UNIT ON MONDAYS UNTIL THEY HAVE THEIR DIMENSIONS TRAINING REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Traveler Experience: Not required Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry MUST HAVE IR Experience - 90% is IR Certs: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Skills: Perform EKG lead placement Certs: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience JOB DETAILS: SHIFT: *40 Hours Can Be Offered Unit will accept contracts 13-20 weeks! 8 HOUR DAYS; 07:30 - 16:00 Call Requirement: Weekday call: 16:00-07:30; Twice a week for 2 weeks in a month. Weekend Call: Friday 16:00-Monday 7:30; 1 weekend call a month. *No call the week after weekend call. Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type. Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN. Additional Coverage May be required to meet departmental needs. This is rotated equitably among all staff members Float Requirement: NONE. Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend. PATIENT AGE GROUP: Adults and Geriatrics PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Vice Implants: PPM, ICD SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 80%-10% split with IR being the 80%, 10% being other procedure types. Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures. Medication administration performed by RN only. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella. SCHEDULING TYPE: Per Unit Needs; FOR THIS UNIT, TECHS START DIRECTLY ON THE UNIT ON MONDAYS UNTIL THEY HAVE THEIR DIMENSIONS TRAINING UNIT ORIENTATION: 40 Hours; 40-80 hours SCRUBS: Yes.
