Job Description:
Medical Director (Psychiatrist)- Matthews - NC Position: Medical
Director (Psychiatrist) Location: Matthews, NC. Shifts: 15 hours
per week. Part-time Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation Centre
(Inpatient) Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership and
oversight for the psychiatric department, ensuring the delivery of
high-quality patient care in accordance with best practices and
regulatory standards. Lead and supervise a team of psychiatric
providers, including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse
practitioners, and other mental health professionals. Develop and
implement clinical policies, protocols, and treatment guidelines to
optimize patient outcomes and ensure consistency of care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and
integrate psychiatric services with other medical specialties.
Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited
medical school. Board certification in Psychiatry. Active state
medical license and DEA registration. Minimum of 1 years of
clinical experience practicing psychiatry.
