Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and
Postpartum (LDRP) experience required. License: RN License required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP required Must-Have: Experience
with all aspects of LDRP patient care. Circulating cesarean
sections experience. Experience with newborn care, including heel
sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support. Skills
in decontamination and sterilization techniques for surgical tech
roles. Comfortable assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum care. The facility has 44 licensed
beds. The average census on the unit is 8 patients. Patient ratios
are based on AWHONN guidelines. The department is supported by a
nursing assistant, a receptionist/unit secretary, charge nurse,
case manager, hospitalist or OB physician, and pediatricians. There
are lactation consultants available for support. Floating will be
required within the region based on needs. Travelers may float to
various facilities within the designated region, with necessary
compensation for travel time. Weekend rotations are required every
other weekend. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays.
The schedule will follow a six-week cycle. Scrubs will be navy blue
or business casual when commuting. Hospital-issued scrubs are
required while on duty. This role requires advanced knowledge and
skill in both labor and delivery nursing and surgical techniques
