Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience License: BLS,
ACLS Certifications: ARRT-R or RCIS Description: Cardiac Cath Tech
position available in a clinical setting. Facility features
licensed beds and specialized centers. Unit consists of cardiac and
vascular rooms. Required experience includes at least one year in a
Cath Lab. First-time travelers are welcomed. Patient types include
cardiac cases such as NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral
Clip. Vascular cases primarily involve lower extremity angiograms
and EVAR and TEVAR procedures. Staff-to-patient ratio for Cardiac
Cath Tech is 1:1. Skills required include Cath Lab experience and
vascular experience, specifically with Endografts. Preferred
experience includes working with vascular surgeons or in
interventional radiology. For nurses, experience with charting in
EMR systems, pre/post documentation, and management of pressors is
essential. Support within the department includes traffic flow
coordination and scheduling. Technologies and equipment utilized
include EMR systems, hemodynamic monitoring, IV pumps, med
dispensing systems, and imaging equipment. Weekend rotation and
on-call duties will be discussed during the interview. Expectations
include the possibility of working during holidays. Travelers may
cover each other's requests for time off. Unit culture is described
