What We Offer: Schedule : 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM with rotating weekend call; Full-Time Location : Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC; At 266 beds, Rowan is Novant's 4th largest hospital and has been serving the area since 1936. Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification. What You'll Do: Provide clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual team needs Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments
