Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Location City, State Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit provides comprehensive care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and management. The nurse will handle diverse patient diagnoses, including pre and post-operative care for cardiac procedures, management of cardiac drips, and interpretation of dysrhythmias in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including the administration of various cardiac and vasoactive drips. - Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations, collaborating with rapid response and code teams. - Provide pre and post-operative care for procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implantations. - Assist in the management of patients with CVA and TIA, ensuring their stable transition through care pathways. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Social Services, and Pharmacy for comprehensive patient management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Tele experience required. - ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications preferred. - Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and management of arterial and central lines is preferred. - EKG testing must be passed prior to start.
