High volume populations include patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, shock, post-cardiac arrest, multi-system failure, cardiac events and procedural recovery, vascular and cardiac disease.Cardiac and Hemodynamic monitoring, Mechanical ventilation, Physiological support through pharmacological intervention, CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) and hemodialysis as required. Hemodialysis is performed by a certified hemodialysis nurse that is outsourced externally from the unit. The ICU nurse is certified to perform CRRT. Elective craniotomies, EVDs, Lumbar drains.
