qualified Home Health RN in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, 27514! Pay
Information $2,240 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 -
17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience
or 1 full year Hospice experience depending on specialty License:
Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have:
Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and used it within the last 6
months. Proficient in Oasis and used it within the last 6 months,
or willing to complete a retraining course. Description:
Coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care
according to physician's orders. Follows agency policies and
procedures through the competent application of the nursing
process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises
and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical
Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Requires home visits and
periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a
current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance.
Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Each type of visit and
activity holds a different point value. Contractor will be assigned
between 5-10 patients per day. Types of cases include Start of
Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Must be willing to travel
up to 75 miles from home location. Mileage will be reimbursed at
the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted. Candidates
must be comfortable with driving to patients’ homes daily.
Expectations include accepting every patient on the schedule
regardless of distance. All documentation must be completed within
24 hours of the appointment with the patient. There are no
guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinician must meet weekly
productivity points of 30, which equates to 40 hours per week. If
there are not enough patients each week, there will be
opportunities to float to another nearby clinic to pick up
