Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience License: Valid RN
license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCRN preferred Must-Have
Skills/Experience: 1 year of CVICU experience after orientation
completion Description: Duties include patient care in a CVICU
setting. The unit comprises 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1,
with occasional 1:1 assignments. Common diagnoses include CABG,
TAVR, STEMI, and carotids. Equipment utilized includes Impella,
IABP, and CRRT. Electronic health record system used is Cerner. The
patient population consists of adult and geriatric patients.
Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills. An
Associate Nursing Degree is required. Dress code is professional
scrubs in any color.
