qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in High Point, North Carolina,

Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive
Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift Hours per
Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 Year ICU Experience License: Active
RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac
and hemodynamic monitoring experience - Ability to interpret
cardiac rhythms - Experience with arterial lines, titration of
drips, and ventilator care - Competency in managing chest tubes and
post-procedure site care Description: We are seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. The Unit consists of
20 beds with an average daily census of 18. Our facility is
accredited as a Chest Pain Center and designated as a Primary
Stroke Center. ICU patient population includes general medical
patients needing advanced hemodynamics and continuous monitoring.
Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, renal failure
requiring CRRT, severe sepsis, and post-surgical care. You will
provide care for patients requiring pharmacological vasopressor
support, targeted temperature management, and insulin drip
titrations. The RN-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with high acuity cases
requiring 1:1 care. A Charge Nurse will be available to assist and
resource nurses as needed. Support staff includes CNAs and Nurse
Techs. Respiratory Therapists and Hospitalists are present 24/7.
Additional support includes a Rapid Response Team and continuous
telemetry monitoring. The unit utilizes technology such as EPIC for
EMR, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment. We foster a
