Pay for this position is $52.50/hr(includes the shift diff) plus $7,500 sign on bonus!Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate mammographic and other imaging equipment/devices in accordance with organizational protocols Position patients, using immobilization when necessary Evaluate radiographs for image quality, adjusting position, density, or contrast and obtaining additional images as needed Explain screening procedures to patients Prepare exam rooms and equipment for studies, ensuring cleanliness and adequate stock/inventory of clinical supplies Obtain, verify, and document all pertinent information for patient visits, including patient clinical history and prior imaging Identify care requirements relative to each patients age-specific needs Use radiation safety measures and protective devices to comply with government regulations and ensure the safety of patients and staff Assist with onboarding and training new Mammography Technician Is Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Education/Licensing/Certification: Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology ARRT certification in radiography ARRT advanced certification in mammography must be obtained within 1 year of hire BLS CPR certificationExperience (years and type): 1-3 years of Mammography experience preferred Diagnostic Mammography Training experience a plusKnowledge and Skills: Computer literate Ability to read and interpret medical reports Anatomic knowledge of breast tissue pattern and related structures as well as breast pathology and treatment of breast pathology Knowledge of radiographic technique and positioning Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service, both internal and external Excellent time management and organizational skillsTravel Required (% of time): 0-25%Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Primarily walking and standing Lift up to 25lbs Role may be exposed to radiation, infectious disease, and bloodborne pathogens#CRCAREERSCharlotte Radiology offers competitive base salary and comprehensive health and welfare benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, PTO, Telehealth, Disability, Employee Assistance Program, and 401k Retirement Savings.Charlotte Radiology is an equal opportunity, at-will employer, and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.by Jobble
