Overview









Purpose The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for driving large scale/complex enterprise programs on time, within budget and meeting all stakeholder requirements. This role will work cross-functionally in the delivery of projects including (but not limited to) NPD projects, operational excellence initiatives, capital investment projects, etc through planning, coordinating, and communicating between various departmental disciplines. The Sr. Project Manager will exercise extensive latitude and use of initiative and independent judgment as the main POC for assigned initiatives. Sr. Project Managers may have direct supervisory roles or indirect reporting over other members within the organization. Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of 3 days/week in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs. The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.













Responsibilities









KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES) Program Management:

Lead end-to-end lifecycle of one- to many- enterprise projects. Develop comprehensive project plans including roles and responsibilities, project milestones, scope, and success metrics.Coordinate project timelines and schedules.Ensure key deliverables across different organizational functions and cross-functional teams.Complete assessment of risk and track mitigation efforts.Organize and maintain project documentation including project charters, schedules, resource allocation and status reports.Set expectations and ensure quality of delivery in processes and deliverables.Create and manage project budgets ensuring adherence to financial targets. Monitor expenses and spending, track financial performance, and provide regular reporting to maximize project value. Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership to ensure alignment with project goals and status.Engage all related departments regarding requirements, tasks, completion dates, work in process, required samples, etc.Establish cadence of communication including tactical working sessions, team updates and executive report outs. Develop and track KPIs for the project including risks and mitigation activities. Communicate performance against metrics and escalate issues to the appropriate level of leadership as needed.Deliver status updates to ensure alignment with project goals, manage expectations and address any issues or concerns. Change Management
Develop and execute change management activities to ensure the successful adoption of project outcomes.Coordinate change communication, training, and organizational readiness activities to ensure smooth transitions.Develop actions and activities to mitigate resistance to change.Document and socialize best practices in change management principles to ensure consistency in program implementations. Product Development
Utilize stage-gating product development process to manage project requirements, timelines and meet technical and financial project objectives.Contribute to product development planning initiatives required to support product portfolio strategy and product roadmaps.Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet consumer needs for new products, channel initiatives, and other corporate objectives.Play a key role in strategic product brain-storming leveraging end user insights, competitive analysis, and utilization of manufacturing and customer care data.Leverage experience to provide support to other product engineers and product managers to determine the most optimum path to execute products that showcase innovative features, performance, and deliver on customer requirements. Other Duties:
Project Managers will take direction primarily from Director or VP level management. This role may include direct reporting responsibility for one or more project managers as assigned.













Qualifications









EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent preferred; PMP Certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years' experience in leading and managing large scale, cross-functional projects. Operational and/or manufacturing project experience a plus.Experience working on projects in cross-functional team setting of engineering development & design, product validation, marketing, procurement, production scheduling, materials management, and other disciplines as needed.Experience with mechanical manufacturing and design methods related to metal and plastic type components, finishes, packaging, and various manufacturing process such as stampings, molding, extrusions, and other fabrication methods.Strong capability in all Windows based applications specifically PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project KEY COMPETENCIES
Ability to demonstrate leadership, organization, collaboration, and execution skills with a degree of independent judgment in a fast-pacedAbility to focus on personal accountability and motivate team accountability, demonstrating attributes of teamwork.Excellent communicator, having the ability to update senior leadership on project issues, corrective action plans, and being able to effectively resolve project conflicts.Ability to seek out solutions across functional departments and remoteRaises issues and opportunities to improve project status and procedures proactivelyto allow risk mitigation and prompt problem Ability to comply with procedural requirements and understand and apply specifications, where needed, with an eye for simultaneous process improvement.Must be a self-starter, able to manage multiple responsibilities and self-prioritize, detail-oriented, strong computer skillset, organized, resourceful, clear communicator, confident leader/manager and team player. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Required to travel to domestic and international engineering centers, manufacturing sites, and suppliers as needed
