Assistant Director of Nursing (DON) Quick Look:

Ensuring that patient care is coordinated and managed properly and ensuring quality outcomes for clientsAssuming responsibility for patient admission, developing the patient's plan of care, quarterly supervisory visits, annual and change of status re-certification assessments, and dischargesSupervising delivery of care by home health aides and other Ally Home Care caregiversEnsuring qualified employees are hired and trained during orientation, and appropriate documentation maintainedDevelop, implement, and maintain clinical compliance strategiesCommunicate and enforce policies and proceduresCreate and audit client admissions and other ongoing clinical documentationProviding continued oversight and training of Ally Home Care caregivers for appraisals on personnel upon completion of probation, annually, and on an as-needed basisEnsuring proper documentation for client flies and employee files so the agency remains in complianceMaintaining and ensuring staff are familiar with Agency rules, policies, and procedures to ensure the Company complies with all relevant federal, state, and local lawsPerforming tasks as-needed to ensure successful operations of the Company as nurse managerQualifications/Requirements:
Valid RN license in the state of North CarolinaExperience in home health management (preferred)Possess independent problem-solving skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writingEmotional maturity and stabilityAbility to maintain a judgment-free teamComfortable with accountability and integrityExperience with administrative writing, research, and reportingBasic math and data entry skillsOrganizational and process design skillsExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, email, web-based client software, and Mac OS XPowered by JazzHR
