  • Will ensure all third party life cycle activities are managed and sustained in accordance with enterprise Third Party Risk Management program, policy and procedural mandates. Will assist in the identification, classification, measurement, and monitoring of third party risks.
  • Will maintain all necessary routines with Legal front line Third Party Management Program team and Independent Risk Management stakeholders to ensure third party service provider (TPSP) risks are identified, managed, reported, escalated and have proper oversight.
  • Will support the implementation of enterprise Third Party Program strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency across the legal department.
  • Support TPRM program monitoring responsibilities which include identifying, reporting and mitigating existing risk as well as any potential risk exposures
  • Ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate risk reporting for use by Legal Control Executive, Legal Senior Management, and Independent Risk Management regarding third party risks.
  • Monitor TPRM program Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators in accordance with inner and out boundaries, ensure appropriate risk management treatment is evidence for any boundary breaches.
  • Coordinate execution of Third Party Risk - program activities
  • Provides input into the development of enterprise-wide risk programs
  • Support policy/procedure development and implementation within the Legal Department as needed.The Candidate -Leadership, integrity, and credibility will be determining factors in selection. There is emphasis on being proactive as well as making sound risk decisions. -As a Team Member, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, partnering with risk operations team members, and the business. Specifically you will:
    • Lead with integrity and create an environment where all team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
    • Drive risk culture, which includes emphasis on educating self and others on regulatory requirements, corporate policies and procedures, risk frameworks and risk appetite. - Demonstrate the ability to identify, evaluate and consult on risk and mitigating controls. - Ensure reported and escalated risk have supporting details that drive proper risk management outcomes. - Demonstrate risk/reward balance and urgency in managing risks, and in prioritizing and completing daily tasks

      Required Qualifications
      • 7+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management

        Desired Qualifications
        • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
        • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
        • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
        • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
        • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
        • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

          Other Desired Qualifications
          • Professional certifications such as CPA, CSCP, CRCM, CGEIT, CRISC, CITP, CISA, CISSP desired but not required
          • Experience leveraging data to understand trends, issues and drive mitigation/remediation Experience in assessing risk, writing issues and developing corrective actions.
          • Experience identifying risk from assessment and vendor performance data
          • Experience in developing and defining key performance indicators and key risk indicators.

            Job Expectations
            • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
