SEO Head of Enterprise Framework Governance Operational Risk Manager 4

Developing the governance and oversight processes to oversee the effective development of the Enterprise Framework Office ensuring strong risk management and compliance with all risk and regulatory requirements; Creating, overseeing and maintaining a robust governance structure inclusive of setting up and running an executive level committee and council, and creating and maintaining all policies, procedures, and standards; Executing regulatory and audit issue remediation in coordination with the broader Enterprise Framework Office; Maintaining artifacts and validation of risk remediation controls and required toll gates; Partnering with the Program Execution team to design and develop a flexible reporting and analytics suite; and Tracking of regulatory inquiries amongst other governance activities. -- This team will ensure that all policies created are effectively applied and monitored across the Enterprise Framework model.To ensure effective governance, this leader, together with the EFO, will liaise with other key functions that are needed to develop, implement, and maintain policies, processes, systems, or data needed to support ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Framework model -- This leader will coordinate with Business Continuity Planning, Services Governance Office, Business Process Management, Supply Chain Services, Enterprise Information Technology, Corporate Properties Group, the Law Department, Finance, and HR amongst other partners to align policy requirements with the Enterprise Framework model. This leader will partner with other EFO verticals, the business, operational and risk leaders, and technology amongst others to embed the Enterprise Framework into the daily operations across the bank.The CandidateThis role will have significant exposure to executive leadership. Relationship building skills at all levels will be a critical success factor. -- This role will report directly to the Head of the Enterprise Framework Office and be accountable for hiring, retaining, and developing a diverse, strategic, and execution oriented team.Successful candidates will be strategic thinkers with a strong understanding of risk management and governance. They will have a strong attention to detail. -- The candidate will be able to think broadly and bring together inter-connected concepts to ensure consistency across processes.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 10+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
• 5+ years of management experience

    • 10+ years recent and relevant risk related, compliance and/or audit experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Enterprise Risk framework
    • Experience successfully navigating, planning and leading a team through change within a highly complex, matrixed environment
    • Demonstrated experience successfully communicating and partnering with senior managers, subject matter experts and executives
    • Direct regulatory experience with regulators and/or internal audit partners
    • Experience consulting with partners and stakeholders around key performance indicators, dashboards and scorecards
    • Experienced in taking complex concepts and simplifying them in a way that is clear and easy to understand at all levels
    • Ability to lead through influence in a highly complex and ambigious environment
    • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
    • Proven ability to foster relationships, promote teamwork, influence and motivate others
    • Superior verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong relationship management skills
